Chuck
Shelby Walvoord - "Chuck" of Honor
Introducing the honorable "Chuck". You might be asking why they are called chuck and that's simple. They said they wanted a cool nickname…
Chuck has known the brides since 2015 and became their roommate in 2022. The rest is history.
**FROM TORI**
If left to our own devices who knows what we will get up to (insert nefarious laughter here). Chuck and I just seem to get each-other on a whole other level. I am genuinely lucky to have them as a friend and I am glad we can get up to shenanigans at all times. From the random yet consistent loosening grasp on reality we occasionally share to the heartwarming and caring serious conversations. I am so glad to have them by my side on my special day! I wouldn’t have it any other way.
**FROM KAYLA**
Although I have known Chuck for years it was more of an acquittances situation until last year. Last year Chuck came to two parties and immediately it was like Chuck had been there all along. Chuck moved in with us shortly after and it has been about a year of "yes and-" in our household. I have watched Tori and Chuck become closer and closer friends through shared experiences and interests. I've watched them develop a bond that I am so happy for them to have in there lives. But I think Chuck and I have developed some of that too. Especially when we have to teach Tori new things like reading and what ducks look like.
Kali
Kali Wolfe - Bridesmaid
Introducing Kali Wolfe aka “Kale”. Kali first met Tori in 2016 and Kayla not long after. Kali would come over for the occasional game night when Kayla still lived with her parents. Tori and Kali worked with eachother for almost 3 years becoming closer every shift. Kali may have moved states they are still just as close if not closer. From game-nights, to drunken facetime calls, to impromptu hurricane shelter sleepovers, Kali is always there.

Kali is such an amazingly strong person that I am proud to have in my life. Who would have thought 6 almost 7 years ago that we would be where we are today! I have taken so much joy in seeing you grow and blossom into the kick-ass creature you are today and I am so glad I have been able to be there as best I can a state away. I love our hours long facetimes talking about the most random things and gushing over horror movies and everything Halloween. I can't wait to have you standing by my side on a very special Halloween. I am truly excited to have you with me on my special day!

I first met Kali when Tori was working at Von Maur. Whenever I was waiting on Tori to finish up with a customer before break of going home for the day. I frequently would talk to Kali. Tori and Kali always had a lot in common, but I think they are only now realizing just how much they had in common. Kali and Tori have formed a connection over shared experiences. I know they are finding that this commonality has begun to develop a strong bond. A trend that I am sure will continue because they are known to have deep conversations over skype. I can only contribute so much to theses conversations because for some mysterious reasons those conversations always end with me having a surprisingly “good time” with a bottle of wine. The mornings after are usually not as good. I am so glad that Tori has Kali in her life & glad to have her a part of our big day.
Marissa (Tiny Tim)
Marissa Howey - Bridesmaid
Introducing Marissa Howey, one of the brides sister(Kayla). Marissa aka Tiny Tim. She has been with the brides for most of their relationship as either their roommate, DD/Adventure buddy, or truly just a friend/sibling. Although quiet and introverted at times Marissa can actually be the life of the party and no matter what is here for a good time.
**FROM TORI**
Where do I even start? Marissa and I have had what I would call a unique friendship to say the least. Keep in mind though that that is not to say that Marissa isn’t a very important person in my life. There have been many times where Marissa has not only championed our relationship but helped me through emotional times. I remember the first thing Kayla told me about Marissa was “when in doubt just act like a sibling” At first I thought that was mean and I wasn’t sure if I should but as the years have passed I have realized that Marissa is like the sister I never had. We have gone on many interesting adventures together and I look forward to many more as I finally get to call her my sister-in-law. Love ya Tiny Tim! I am so glad I get to have you by my side on my special day!
**FROM KAYLA**
It is hard to summarize the relationship that one has with their sibling, but I will do my best. Marissa has always been my biggest ally although she may not always agree or approve she’s always there for support. Often also as a ride home. She is always up for an adventure and more than willing to tag along. I am thankful to see that her and Tori have been able to form a friendship. An odd and still growing friendship, but a friendship all the same. I remember the anxiety Tori felt when she was first introduced to my sister that was only enhanced when we moved into our apartment. I told Tori there are two ways to win over Marissa a solid come back and chocolate.
Amber
Amber Work - Bridesmaid
Introducing Mrs. Amber Work. The brides met Amber when she joined Tori's team when she was a manager at Cole Haan. They became rather fast friends and no matter what, have been there for each other through thick and thin.
**FROM TORI**
Amber has been and continues to be my fucking sidekick. I don't even know if that's the best way to put it but we just seem to have always meshed. We are always either super chill with each other or hyped up on caffeine like two coked up squirrels. From the crazy overnights and early ass mornings we had working together all the way to planning and doing Amber's baby shower for Lily, I have always had so much fun with her and love her to death! Amber always seems to know where my brain is at without me having to say it and I know she is the type of loyal friend who would kill someone if necessary (don't do it, Zack will be pissed at me) I am so beyond grateful to call her one of my best friends and am so excited to share my big day with her by my side!

Sometimes you just mesh with a friend, like the both of you just get each other. No matter how much time has passed you can just meet up and it is like you just picked up where you left off. That is exactly how Tori and Amber are. They always seem to have this mutual understanding that life happens, but if they need each other they'll be there. I am glad she will be a part of our big day.
Rachel Hadlock- Bridesmaid
Introducing Mrs. Rachel Hadlock. Rachel met the brides once or twice over the course of 2 years in 2018-2020 but became even closer during the pandemic. Sharing a love of reptiles and nerdy stuff the friendship was fast but strong. Rachel is a genuine and sweet friend who has always championed the brides relationship, and is truly an ally.
**FROM TORI**
I love this girl to death! I love how our friendship legit started states apart on Snapchat just gushing over our lizards. But then as Rachel moved to Georgia & we were able to actually build and grow an amazing friendship. From listening to each other bitch/vent about our day to day, to laughing over meals and book club, all the way to comforting each other through tears that life has dealt us. I love how our friendship has bloomed and no matter what I know you are a true friend to the end! I'm so glad to have Rachel by my side on my special day!

Rachel is the type of person that more people need in their lives. She has been a supportive cheerleader for everyone she meets. I am so glad that Tori has someone like Rachel in her life. I've found that she needs all the love and support that she can get (for some reason she seems unable to live off harassment and sarcasm like the rest of us...weird right?) Rachel is always someone who can give it. When Rachel started hanging out with our group she made sure to put everyone's birthday on a calendar so we would never forget about anyone and that is the type of friendly attention to detail I can only hope to achieve when(if I can ever) grow up.

Bren
Bren Larson - Officiant
Introducing Mr. Bren Larson, the benevolent ceremony officiant. He has known the brides since around 2018. He has always been a kind and caring ally throughout their relationship.
**FROM TORI**
Bren has always been such a sweetheart. He is one of the most kind and caring teddy bears. I loved getting to watch Kayla grow closer and hearing all the ridiculous things they would talk about when they worked together. Then he joined the friend group and we began playing D&D together at the apartment and became even closer friends. It was roughly around this time that Brendan TOLD us that he would be the officiant at our wedding and we totally agreed. As friends we somehow made it through Covid by playing D&D and having hang-outs over skype with both fun loving and serious deep conversations. We are more than ecstatic to have him be an integral part of our big day.
**FROM KAYLA**
I first met Bren while working construction. We were always partnered up and there is no end to the amount of things you discuss working with the same person weeks and weeks at a time. But from all that time the one thing that stuck out to me was Bren’s need to stand up for the underdog. It is without a doubt the reason I wanted to invite Bren to our friend group. Tori and Bren immediately became friends. Through lock down our friend group grew closer during a tough time of isolation. The stories we told through our characters in D&D highlighted the compassionate soul Bren possess making him the obvious and cherished choice as officiant.
Tim
Tim McCain - Matrimonial Support Person
Introducing Tim McCain. Tim is one of the happiest people you’ll ever meet. He has know Kayla for years and although he has only meet Tori in recent years they are already hitting it off.
**FROM TORI**
I remember the first time I met Lucius Malfoy…I mean Tim. It was at one of the famous Howey Halloween Parties. Tim is a pretty consistent concert going buddy for Kayla. They definitely share a love of music. Tim always the life of the party and is always smiling! I think my personal favorite memory is a recent one for Tim’s 50th. Needless to say there were several shots of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey and a hilarious game of Bocce Ball that ended with a kitchen dance party. I am glad to know we will have him involved in our special day!

Sometimes you find yourself developing a connection with an unlikely person. But there is one way the find a connection that transcends any age barrier and that is 80s hair bands. Many would underestimate the power of teased hair and notably long guitar solos, but they have obviously never known the thrill of seeing some of the greatest bands in person. Tim and I have passed time at many holiday functions discussing music. Which for those who did not know is one of the most important things to me.

Dennis (Red)
Matrimonial Support Person
Introducing Dennis Taylor . Dennis has known Kayla since Highschool and met Tori at the beginning of the brides relationship. Dennis has always been the friend to be down for whatever adventure the party is on. Like the brides, Dennis has a love of nerdy things like D&D and other table top games.
**FROM TORI**
Dennis aka “Red” has been in the friend-group since before I even came along. Kayla and Dennis have a unique relationship. The two of them sometimes share some pretty deep heartfelt conversations and other times its legitimately just a nerd-fest. We made it through Covid playing multiple different campaigns of D&D together and grew closer as friends. I’m glad he is a part of our special day!

If you know anything about me than you know that it is not an easy task to get me to laugh. Red however is capable of getting me to laugh at a joke. One thing that most people do know is Red can tell a good lame dad joke like no other. They don’t always land, but when they do it is great. Red is also someone I can always depend on. In moments when I have needed a friend or just needed help Red is always there to offer a helping hand. This is I why I know I could depend on his support on such an important day in my life. Red you might not know this, but you’re pretty cool sometimes especially when you are busy being yourself.
Brett
Brett Rutter - Matrimonial Support Person
Introducing Brett Rutter. Brett is Kayla’s uncle although Tori has not know Brett for as long as Kayla has she formed a quick bond. He is one of the strongest supporters of our relationship and isn’t afraid to tell you.

The bond that Kayla and Brett have is undeniable. The very first time I met him I remember sitting across from Denise (Kayla’s Aunt/Brett’s Wife) and Saying “Holy Shit they really are just the same person”. Once Brett and Dee had moved back to the states I got the chance to better get to know them. I have grown to not only enjoy hanging out and joking around but I also somewhat look up to Brett. We have had some deep heartfelt and serious conversations. He is genuinely one of the best. There is a reason I have chosen to have him walk me down the aisle. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
**FROM KAYLA**
Brett and I have spent most of my life living states or countries apart, but that has not impacted our relationship. Brett has always been one of my biggest supporters and at least top 3 drinking buddies. Since he found out that Tori and I were planning on getting married he has been so excited to be involved. I had at one point talked to him about the struggle I was having choosing between Zach and Fred to be my person of honor and assured me that he could take their place. He also was going to walk Tori down the aisle and was going to perform the ceremony. I am very glad we were able to narrow down the roles for him so he could enjoy his day as much as the rest of us. In all seriousness, I know that Tori and I could turn to Brett for anything which is why I am so thankful to have him there with us on our wedding day.
Fred
Sean Brundle - “Fred” of Honor
Introducing Fred Brundle. Fred (Sean) You may be wondering how he acquired such a unique nickname. When he and Kayla were growing up he asked for a cool nickname. He still has not received one but Fred has always stuck. Fred and Kayla have known each other since elementary school.
**FROM TORI**
Fred and Kayla’s relationship is one for the ages! From the very first time I met Fred I could tell he was an absolute sweetheart! He is that friend at the party or gathering who is quietly saying some of the funniest shit you’ve ever heard. I have enjoyed our many game nights, drunken parties, and brewery visits! All in all Fred is that friend that you know you can count on and no matter what will always be there. I know that the cherished bond between the two of them is unmatched. I am so glad he will be a part of our special day!
**FROM KAYLA**
So far the most stressful decision I've ever made was who to ask to be my person of honor. I've only recently become aware truly how unique my friendship is with both Fred and Zach. I was distraught at the idea of picking one over the other before Tori finally got it through to me that I could pick both. And I'm so grateful she did.
Fred and I have been best friends for 20 short years. We have grown together, experienced milestones together and have watched so many music videos together. Especially that one...you know the one. Fred has always been the friend to make sure I always get a holiday text or that I'm never alone on my birthday. Even if that means he drives me to the liquor store on my 21st and he sits in the car because he can't go in or we go to a bar just the two of us to chill. Words cannot describe how utterly lost I would be without this friendship.
Zach
Zachary Cooper - “Zatch” of Honor
Introducing Zach Cooper aka Zatch, Zacchaeus, Zatchery, Zatcheriah…and so forth. He and Kayla became friends in high school. He was the first of Kayla’s friends to be introduced to Tori when the brides began dating.

Zach has been friends with Kayla since they were kids and I met him not even a month into Kayla and I’s relationship. I love the devotion and loyalty Kayla seems to bring out in her friends. Zach is no exception. I have also grown an amazing friendship with Zach over the years. From drinking wine and watching community together, to playing D&D and various board game, I have grown to call Zach one of my best friends and I am so glad he will be a part of our special day!

Zach is often described as the loudest person in the room. Although it is not always true, it is a safe bet. Zach has helped me through some pf the toughest moments in my life. He has helped me through some of the toughest moments in my life. He has supported me through thing I could have never imagined and was there rain or shine through everything. He was the first one I called when Tori and I started talking. He was the first friend she met and I have loved every moment of watching develop their bond.
